The CEDN self aligning intermediate shaft bearing is made of highest quality cast iron with centrifugally cast lead based white metal bearing surface.
Execution
The bearing is self-lubricating and prepared for watercooling. The self-aligning design simplifies installation and reduces wear of the bearing compared to conventional rigid design. The bearings are equipped with an oil level gauge and a thermometer as standard.
Optional items
Temperature sensor type PT-100 and water cooler can be installed on the bearings as an option. In case of low shaft speed running conditions, the bearings can be equipped with a hydrostatic lubrication system. The oil is then supplied from a separate pump unit containing an electric driven pump and an oil cooler.
